I’m Neil Rickerby, a London-based wedding videographer creating calm, cinematic wedding films for couples across London and the South East of England.
For over a decade, I’ve been filming weddings in a way that feels natural, unobtrusive, and timeless. After years of filming weddings across London and the South East, I have brought together my background in television broadcast production and a deep love for storytelling, creating wedding films that still feel meaningful years down the line, not dated or led by trends.
I founded NDR films after noticing a gap in the market for wedding videography that combined high production quality with a relaxed, personal experience. What started as a side venture quickly became my full-time focus, and I made the decision to leave my television career to dedicate myself entirely to wedding filmmaking, a decision I’ve never looked back on.
I personally film almost every wedding I take on. This means you know exactly who will be there on the day, and that the style, care, and approach you see in my work is what you’ll receive.
If I am already booked, I have a small network of trusted, like-minded videographers that can film in my place. These are professionals who work in the same calm, documentary way and meet the same standards I hold. I will then edit the film in my exact style.

Before focusing full-time on weddings, I spent almost a decade working in the television industry, mainly at the BBC. During my career I contributed to a wide range of entertainment and documentary productions.
Alongside wedding work, I still occasionally film for Televised documentaries, covering subjects ranging from music to the Royal Family.
Working in both production and post-production taught me how to tell stories clearly, emotionally, and with purpose, skills usually reserved for large scale television projects. I bring that same level of care, pacing, and attention to detail into every cinematic wedding film I create

Your photographer plays a huge role in your wedding day, and working well together is essential.
I take a collaborative, respectful approach, ensuring I never interfere with photography or interrupt moments as they unfold. During photo calls, I capture what’s needed quietly and efficiently, always staying out of the way.
Many of my bookings come through photographer recommendations, simply because I’m known for being easy to work with and mindful of the wider team. A calm atmosphere behind the scenes leads to better moments in front of the camera.

That’s exactly how it should be.
I film weddings in a completely unobtrusive way, using small, discreet mirrorless cameras and carefully chosen lenses that allow me to capture natural interactions without drawing attention.
Understanding that many people feel camera-shy, I keep direction to an absolute minimum. Your day unfolds naturally, I simply preserve it.
All films are captured in UHD 4K, delivering beautiful image quality while keeping the equipment itself subtle enough that most guests won’t even realise they’re being filmed.
